A maior premiação musical do Reino Unido aconteceu no final da tarde e início da noite desta quarta-feira (24). O BRIT Awards 2016 aconteceu no tradicional O2 Arena, em Londres, Inglaterra, e reuniu não apenas os artistas prata da casa como estrelas internacionais.
Adele se destacou levando os prêmios de “British Female Solo Artist”, “British Single” e um especial pelo sucesso do álbum “25”, do single “Hello” e da turnê que ainda nem começou e já está com ingressos esgotados. Justin Bieber, Coldplay e James Bay também estão entre os vencedores.

A cantora Lady Gaga saiu consagrada do Globo de Ouro 2016, no domingo (10/1). Indicada como melhor atriz de série de TV pelo papel de Condessa Elizabeth em “American Horror Story”, ela venceu a categoria e levou o troféu para casa. A popstar, que estreou como atriz na TV com esse projeto, derrotou Kirsten Dunst, Sarah Hay, Felicity Huffman e Queen Latifah, e ficou muito honrada e emocionada. “É um dos grandes momentos da minha vida. (…) Eu quis ser atriz antes de ser cantora, mas a música veio primeiro”, declarou no discurso de agradecimento.
A vitória deixou os little monsters de todo o mundo em polvorosa. Os fãs sabem o quanto é importante para Gaga o reconhecimento por esse trabalho, que consumiu tanto do seu tempo e sua dedicação. Para fazer a série, a cantora adiou a produção do seu álbum pop novo. O hiato entre o “ARTPOP” e o próximo disco, aliás, está de alto nível. Pelo disco de jazz “Cheek to Cheek”, com Tony Bennett, a cantora também levou o Grammy.
Mas, como na Internet tudo é festa, um detalhe da premiação também repercutiu com bom humor. No caminho entre sua mesa e o palco, Lady Gaga esbarrou no ator Leonardo DiCaprio, que estava rindo (sabe-se lá de quê). A reação dele, de fato, é engraçada.
E tem mais: Sam Smith, que é fã assumido da Lady Gaga, também venceu o Globo de Ouro. O cantor foi reconhecido pela composição de “Writing’s On the Wall” para o filme “007 Contra Spectre”: levou o troféu de melhor canção original.
